FAQ

How do I receive a referral to stay at Ronald McDonald House BC  and Yukon (RMH BC)?

All stays at RMH require a referral from a hospital Social Worker who will submit a request form.

For questions regarding admission requirements please call the House at 604.736.2957.

What safety measures are in place for COVID-19?

We continue to practice COVID-19 safety protocols including wellness checks and enhanced cleaning. From the information we’ve been given from various health authorities about the improving or stabilizing conditions of the pandemic, and in the efforts to serve all families in need, mandatory mask wearing in all common spaces and proof of vaccination for families within RMHBC programs is no longer required. Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination will remain in effect for all staff and volunteers and masks will be available for families who wish to wear them.

As always, we remain dedicated to the health and safety of families and thank our amazing community for helping us continue to support and uplift families during difficult times.
